Bolton Wanderers have arrived in Oxfordshire ahead of their Papa Johns Trophy clash with Exeter City. The Trotters are in high spirits after their impressive victory in the Northern Section Final against Tranmere Rovers.

Attention now turns to the challenge of facing Exeter in the final. The Devon side have also enjoyed a successful run in the competition, reaching the final after overcoming Port Vale in the Southern Section Final.

Bolton manager Ian Evatt will be hoping to guide his team to their first trophy since winning the League Two title in 2017. The Trotters will be looking to add to their impressive history in the competition, having won the trophy in 1989 and 1991.

The Papa Johns Trophy final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 19th. Bolton and Exeter will be hoping to create a memorable occasion and add to the rich history of the competition.
